“ We were staying at the Hyatt regency and wanted something other than burgers and American food. Mehfil Bistro provided a warm atmosphere and delicious food - we didn't order anything exotic, just butter chicken, lamb korma, lamb curry, and mutter paneer. The naan was crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, perfect for all the saucy food. Service was attentive, and they were kind enough to ask us how spicy, something we don't often get in the SF Bay Area. The kids loved it just as much as the adults. Would recommend if you're in the area. ”

Mehfil meets the mark for a long awaited Indian restaurant near Lake Tahoe. We tried three vegetarian dishes and liked all of them, our favorite being the tadka dal and the matar paneer. The okra masala was tad bit spicy but full of taste. Highly recommend the place, we were skeptical from the reviews and the menu prices before trying out. ”
“ It's been a long time since I've had very delicious authentic Indian food. This place satisfied the craving beyond belief. The basic naan was delicious of course. The green chutney was gone by the time we finished. We put it on everything! The samosas,perfection! The lamb tiki masala was good. Some of the lamb was tough, most of it was tender. The sauce was a little too sweet for me, but my boyfriend devoured it. what a wonderful surprise. The way they do their chai- yum. It felt so medicinal on my very satisfied stomach. Will definitely come back on our next trip! ”
